Dianna Slater I remember seeing DCFC when they were still starting off. There was a show in or around LA where DCFC actually opened for Nada Surf. 🤗 I was a lucky girl! I ♥️ Nada Surf! They’re one of my favorite bands! The New Year, anything to do with New Years Day, has a special place in my heart. It’s the opening track to Transatlanticism which is one of the last albums my dad ever bought me. 🖤 Favorite track: The New Year - Live at The Showbox.

Sydney Bolton These shows were some of the last that I worked before the pandemic began and venues shut down. I'm glad I can listen to them while waiting for venues to reopen and work to come back.

DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE - LIVE AT THE SHOWBOX !

Like so many other artists, we expected to play a lot of shows in 2020. To gear up for the year ahead, we decided to warm up by playing an intimate, three night stand at a venue that's near and dear to our hearts - the Showbox in Seattle. Well, 2020 didn't quite turn out like we had planned - but happily those three magical nights last February did, and we're glad to say that we had them recorded!

LIVE AT THE SHOWBOX is a 17-track selection of songs from those three wonderful evenings, and it is available now for 24 hours only until 11:59pm PT on Friday 5/7, exclusively on Bandcamp. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the National Independent Venue Association (www.nivassoc.org), who are doing crucial work to ensure that venues will still be there on the other end of this pandemic.
